Garment Care

At Gravida Atelier, we want your rental experience to be as effortless and enjoyable as possible. Our gowns are part of a carefully curated collection, and by caring for them during your rental period, you help us preserve their quality so that others may enjoy them too. Please follow these simple guidelines:

Handling

  • Always ensure your hands are clean and dry before touching the gown.

  • Avoid pulling, rubbing, or stretching the fabric unnecessarily.

Avoiding Stains

  • Be mindful when enjoying food and beverages near the gown.

  • Use napkins or protective covers where possible.

  • If an accident occurs, contact us immediately so we can advise on the safest way to prevent permanent damage.

Keep Away from Hazards

  • Keep the gown away from open flames, sharp objects, rough surfaces, or excessive heat.

  • Take care when sitting outdoors or in areas where the fabric could snag.

Hanging & Storage

  • When not in use, hang the gown in a spacious, safe place.

  • Do not overcrowd the closet, as this may crush or wrinkle the fabric.

  • If provided, always store the gown in the Gravida Atelier garment bag to protect it from dust, sunlight, and moisture.

Cleaning 

  • Do not attempt to clean the gown yourself. Gravida Atelier handles all professional cleaning after each rental.

  • Minor marks from normal wear are expected and acceptable.

  • Significant stains or damage may result in additional charges. Please notify us immediately if this happens

Fragrances & Perfumes

  • Avoid spraying perfumes, body sprays, or hair products directly on the gown, as they may cause discolouration or lingering odours

Alterations

  • No alterations, cutting, pinning, or sewing may be made to the gown.

  • Any alterations will be considered damage and may result in repair or replacement charges.
